Originally the brainchild of is His Highness Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad as a walk in sports concept the idea evolved into a fully integrated shopping complex. Developers aimed for something unique in the retail market to distinguish the venue from all competitors locally and regionally with a water feature as the focal point. From this, Villaggio Mall was conceived and born.
